Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that translates to “the foot fist way” or “The Art of Kicking and Punching”. Our school teaching this core concept in two ways. First, we teach the practical aspect, teaching students kicks, punches and blocks. Second, we teach the spiritual aspect, teaching students the value the path the walk on and the intention of their actions.

Tae Kwon Do was developed in 1940’s and has grown to become one of the most practiced martial arts in the world. Tae Kwon Do teachings include: forms, sparring, breaking, self-defense, mental focus, discipline, etiquette, respect and self-confidence. Tae Kwon Do is one of the few combat martial arts that are in the Olympics.
